JAYAPURA - The Papua Communication and Informatics Agency (Kominfo) held a Christmas celebration with staff, families and retirees, on Friday (8/12/2023), in Jayapura City.
The Christmas celebration with the theme "Glory to God and Peace on Earth", began with an ecumenical worship, and closed with the handing over of gifts to the families of retired Papua Communication and Informatics Agency and children.
In Christmas messages, the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Service, Jeri A. Yudianto advised staff to continue to work to do the best for God and to carry out their respective work duties.
"Let's do everything best in our duties and works, as part of our mission in the world, especially in Papua," said Jeri.
Meanwhile, regarding the Christmas and New Year holidays, Jeri invited all staff to use the momentum to enjoy the company of their extended families in their respective homes.
"Because we rarely get together so in this opportunity let's use it as well as possible," he invited.
Jeri on that occasion also asked all staff not to get involved in practical politics entering the upcoming 2024 political year. Because of the involvement of civil servants, it will lead to strict sanctions from the leadership, even potentially receiving dishonorable dismissal from the status of civil servant.
"It has also been said many times by our leaders that civil servants must maintain neutrality in the political year, so as civil servants, let us continue to carry out our duties professionally and maintain neutrality. So that everything can run well and peacefully," he said. ***
