JAYAPURA - The Family Welfare Development Driving Team (TP PKK) of Papua Province is collaborating with Unicef to create the Stop Defecating Carelessly (SBABS) 2025.
The collaboration will begin with the launch of SBABS in Jayapura City in March 2024.
"Earlier I had received a visit from Unicef, they offered collaboration to Stop Defecating Carelessly with the Papuan PKK."
"We welcome and encourage the declaration in March 2024. There is a plan to declare in Jayapura City," explained the Acting Chairman of the Papua Family Welfare Development Driving Team, Linda Onibala, Tuesday (13/2/2024), in Jayapura City.
According to Linda, her party immediately wrote to the district and city to follow up on the cooperation plan or collaboration with Unicef.
"But later the provincial government will also issue a letter to the district and city governments because this agenda also follows up on the Home Minister's letter. So there is a collaboration for this activity," she said.
About the work program in 2024, Linda added, the main focus is handling stunting.
In addition, the Papua Family Welfare Development Driving Team will initiate the planting of chili trees in the yards of residents' homes to reduce regional inflation.
"So that there will be distribution of chili tree seeds. We are working with related agencies," she concluded. ***
