JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun called on all local governments in Papua to deal with the problems of stunting, inflation and poverty to achieve maximum results.
These three things have become one of the national and regional priority programs.
"That all parties must play an active role in handling inflation, stunting and poverty. This is the main challenge in realizing the welfare and progress of Papua," explained Ridwan in his direction at the Coordination Meeting in Jayapura City, on Monday (19/2/2024).
The meeting discussed Handling Inflation Control, Stunting and Acceleration of Extreme Poverty Elimination in Papua Province.
Meanwhile, Ridwan asked for active collaboration from all stakeholders in Papua to maximize the handling of these three things. Starting from regents/mayors, heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations, non-governmental organizations, private sector and public.
"For poverty, there is a need for a holistic and integrated approach in lifting the Papuan people out of poverty. Of course, it is also necessary to provide them with a decent life opportunity".
"But we believe that by fighting together, we will create a better future for future generations. I hope there will be input and recommendations as well as innovative solutions from this meeting" he said.
