JAYAPURA – The Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong confirmed that he has submitted an open selection for the filling of definitive officials of the head of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD).
Meanwhile, the implementation is still waiting for permission from the Minister of Home Affairs.
This was conveyed by the Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong to reporters in Jayapura, Monday (30/9/2024).
"We have submitted an application letter for open selection to the Ministry of Home Affairs. But until now, the permit from the Ministry of Home Affairs has not been received by the Papua Provincial Government."
"We have not received the permit because a replacement process must be approved by the Minister of Home Affairs first," said Ramses.
Ramses also ensured that his party did not have any interest in the open selection process for the definitive position of the Head of OPD and officials under him.
He wants the existence of definitive officials to maximize security services and development in Papua Province.
"And they only want an official to sit in a position that suits their respective abilities and capacities," he said.
Previously, the Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses asked the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) to process the filling of vacant positions. Accelerating the filling of definitive officials so that services to the community are more optimal.
This is because there are too many officials on duty and daily implementers in the Papua Provincial Government. ***
