JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government, through the Papua Provincial Health Office, said that three out of nine districts/cities in Papua have implemented a free health check-up program for the community.
The three areas are Jayapura City, Jayapura Regency and Biak Regency. Meanwhile, the other six regions have not yet implemented it.
For this reason, the Acting Head of the Papua Provincial Health Office, dr. Arry Pongtiku, encouraged other regions in the local area to immediately implement the program launched by President Prabowo.
"The implementation of free health check has been in effect since January 20, we hope this instruction can be applied to districts/cities in Papua," said dr. Arry, Friday (7/2).
According to dr. Arry, nine districts/cities in Papua are ready for the program. However, there are still several obstacles, such as logistics and human resources. ***
