JAYAPURA – Head of the Papua Bureau of Procurement of Goods and Services, Debora Salosa, stated that project tenders within the Papua Provincial Government are not facing any issues.
This is in line with the fact that many acting officials are still in place within Regional Government Work Units, with the Papua Provincial Government currently managing 40 SKPDs.
"As long as there is authority delegated by the governor, we will proceed," she said.
According to Debora, the main principle is serving the public rather than individuals. Therefore, procurement processes will continue in the interest of the people of Papua.
"I believe the higher-ranking officials have carefully considered the appointment decrees for acting officials, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications as per leadership assessments," she explained.
She also confirmed that project tenders within the Papua Provincial Government are currently awaiting presidential instruction. In line with Presidential Instruction No. 1 and Minister of Finance Regulation No. 29, as well as a circular from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the tender process is temporarily on hold. ***
