JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government has emphasized that the salaries and Additional Employee Income (TPP) for Civil Servants remain guaranteed despite the Papua Regional Election Re-vote (PSU) budget adjustments.
Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong, assured that civil servants rights have been accounted for in the 2025 Regional Budget planning and will not be affected by the funding requirements for re-election.
“We have secured civil servants rights for one year. Salaries and Additional Employee Income will continue as usual, and I have already signed the Governor's Regulation regarding this matter,” said Ramses in Jayapura.
He added that even though the Papua Provincial Government is implementing budget efficiency measures to finance the re-election, the welfare of civil servants remains a priority.
“We do need to adjust the 2025 Regional Budget for the re-election, but it will not affect civil servants’ rights,” he stressed. ***
