JAYAPURA– Following the issuance of a Circular Letter from the Regional Secretary of Papua Number 800/3360/SET dated March 21, 2025, regarding the Implementation of Attendance Recording for State Civil Apparatus through Electronic Attendance within the Papua Provincial Government, the Department of Communication and Informatics is currently conducting a re-recording of attendance data using electronic machines across all regional government work units within the Papua Provincial Government.
According to David Tirajoh, Head of the Applications and Informatics Division, the re-recording process, which began in late March, has reached 60 percent progress and is expected to be completed soon, especially considering that some regional government work units have Technical Implementation Units spread across several regencies.
The process involves direct recording and assistance for operators in each SKPD, so that designated operators in each office can later help in recording and validating ASN data within their respective regional government work units.
This re-recording is part of the Papua Provincial Government’s effort to validate the data of civil servants and to enhance discipline among state civil apparatus.
The Head of the Department of Communication and Informatics, Jeri Agus Yudianto, emphasized that this re-recording applies to all ASNs in the Papua Provincial Government.
“Diskominfo, as the technical work unit for this task, is fulfilling its duties and responsibilities by the instructions from the leadership as outlined in the circular letter. This ensures the validation process and fulfillment of civil servants' rights based on attendance can proceed properly and be accounted for.”
Jeri also urged all staff of the government work unit to actively participate in the process and to take care of the attendance equipment.
“We hope this re-recording effort is fully supported and that everyone works together to monitor and maintain the attendance machines,” said Jeri. ***
