JAYAPURA – The Communication and Informatics Office of Papua Province conducted an Official Vehicle Roll Call today as a follow-up to the Supreme Audit Agency instruction related to the 2024 Fiscal Year Financial Report audit. (20/5)
The Head of the Communication and Informatics Office, Jeri Agus Yudianto, stated that the activity aimed to ensure that all official vehicles were in good condition, present at the designated location, and had assigned responsible parties.
“This vehicle roll call is part of the Supreme Audit Agency instruction regarding the audit of the 2024 Financial Report. We are ensuring that all official vehicles are active, present on-site, and each has a designated person in charge,” he said.
Jeri also reminded official vehicle holders to comply with existing regulations regarding the use and return of state assets. “I emphasize to all vehicle holders that we must be ready to receive and return vehicles under the rules. This also applies to me as a holder of state assets. We are the users, while the owner is the Governor of Papua, and the Head of BPKAD manages the asset administration,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, Acting Inspector of Papua Province, Danny Korwa, expressed appreciation for the initiative of the Communication and Informatics Office and encouraged all Regional Government Work Units to carry out similar actions.
“I hope other Regional Government Work Units will also conduct vehicle roll calls as the Communication and Informatics has done. This activity is important to identify who is responsible for the vehicles, their physical condition, and their role in supporting tasks in the communication and information sector,” said Danny.
This vehicle roll call is expected to serve as an initial step in organizing and optimizing official vehicle assets to support better and more accountable governance. ***
