A total of 44 functional officials in the Papua Provincial Government, officially appointed, inaugurated by The Deputy Governor of Papua, Klemen Tinal, at Dok V State Building Jayapura, Thursday (5/11/2020) afternoon.

In his direction the Deputy Governor Tinal focused on filling functional positions not solely based on the authority of the regional leadership. Instead, look at the prevailing norms and rules, so that Papua becomes an example for other regions in Indonesia.

That is, the promotion of work is done, and still refers to Government Regulation No. 11 of 2017 on State Civil Apparatus Management (ASN).

Proposals to occupy certain positions are also seen based on performance in carrying out the mandate as well as based on organizational needs

 "Certainly Papua, even the easternmost island in Indonesia, still follows the norms and laws that apply in the Republic of Indonesia," he said.

On that occasion, Deputy Governor of Papua Klemen Tinal also confirmed the Head of The National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Regional IX Jayapura, Sabar Parlindungan Sormin.

He expects good cooperation between the Papuan Government and the new Head of the National Civil Service Agency Regional to be able to synergize to improve the performance of State Civil Apparatus in Papua.

Known, the functional officials appointed are the main officials 3 people, the middle officials 6 people, the young officials 8 people, the first functional officials 14 people, the acting officials advanced 2 people, the executive functional officials 8 people, the first acting officials 3 people.
