In less than a month, the concurrent elections 2020 will be held in 11 districts and cities including Keerom.

The Interim Regent of Keerom, Dr. Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, SE, MM, said that the difference of choice in the election democratic party, not to be a barrier to the sense of brotherhood that has been awakened so far in the region.

Therefore, he called on all components of society in Keerom to play a role in keeping Keerom's situation conducive.

"I will not be tired of inviting all parties to respect each other, we may have different choices but still we are brothers," he said in Keerom on Tuesday (10/11/2020).

Most importantly, whoever wins, all parties must accept and support all programs that will be programmed to advance Keerom.

"The main thing is that after the Election, I hope all communities should be reunited to build Keerom," he said.

Ridwan believes that some Keerom communities now have their own choice of regional head candidates.

He considered it commonplace amid the enthusiasm of the public who had been impatient to cast their vote on December 9, 2020.

"The important thing is not to let this election be a barrier to fostering interconnectedness between all components of society," he concluded.

Unknown, Keerom Election 2020 was attended by 3 pairs of regional head candidates.

They are, Yusuf, Wally – Hadi Susilo, Peiter Gusbager – Wahfir Kosasih and Muh Markum – Malensisus Musui.

On November 9, 2020, the first stage candidate debate was held successfully in the Keerom Parliament Office.
