JAYAPURA - Papua Governor Lukas Enembe invited all elements to fill Indonesia independence by maintaining unity in the frame of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
This was conveyed by Lukas Enembe after becoming the Inspector of Ceremonies for the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022 at the Lukas Enembe Stadium Area, Kampung Harapan, Jayapura Regency, Wednesday (17/8/2022).
Governor Lukas Enembe also hopes that the 77th of Indonesian Independence Day will be used as a momentum for all stakeholders to advance Papua, so that they can immediately rise from the slump.
"Little more Indonesia is heading towards a century in 2045. So Papua must be more advanced," he said.
Separately, the Assistant for Economic Affairs and The Regional Secretary of Papua, Muhammad Musa'ad, encouraged that the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia became a momentum for the improvement of development in Papua.
"It means improving and rising from the slump and high poverty. Then get up and look to a better future," he said.
Musa'ad also requested that the commemoration be used as a momentum to unite to maintain peace in the land of Papua, because it is one of the important instruments so that development can be carried out as it should be. ***
