JAYAPURA - The Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Papua Province met 23 partners, on Thursday (31/8/2023) evening, in Jayapura.
In addition to discussing development planning, Bappenda Papua asked relevant partners to submit data on the results of development that had been carried out, to be further documented in the form of books.
"This is an initial meeting with development partners in 2023 to improve coordination and collaboration to see the role of each, both local governments and partner friends in supporting development in Papua".
"But the point is that we want to know information related to the results of development carried out by development partners so this meeting has documentation of the results of Papua's future development planning. And the results of the development carried out by these partners will be documented in book form," explained Secretary of Bappeda Papua, Verra Wanda, after the meeting.
Meanwhile, 23 development partners were present, engaged in several fields. Among them, carrying out development in the fields of education, health, social and culture, empowering human resources, the environment and strengthening the capacity of civil servants.
"There is a strengthening of civil servants because most of the actors of this development are civil servants. So there needs to be strengthening so that it can be maximized in working, "said Verra.
Verra added that all data collected by Bappeda will later be integrated into data on the development results of the Papua Provincial Government for further public knowledge. ***
