JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government appreciates YPPK's commitment to Papua which has proven its commitment to improving the quality of education in Papua.
This was conveyed by the Acting Governor of Papua through the Main Expert Policy Analyst for Development and Environment, Roberth Purwoko, who opened a workshop with the theme Growth Mindset and Leadership 4.0. The activity took place in the Hall of the Papua Governor's Office, Friday (19/7/2024). This activity was attended by hundreds of YPPK employees and teachers throughout the Land of Papua.
"The age of 50 years of educational services in the Land of Papua carried out by YPPK shows extraordinary enthusiasm. I appreciate this workshop activity which is a form of YPPK's concern for increasing the capacity and quality of its educators."
"I hope that YPPK educators and employees throughout the Land of Papua can benefit from this activity. Hopefully, this workshop will provide new insights, positive energy and innovative strategies for YPPK educators," he appealed.
Bishop of Jayapura, Monsignor Yanuarius Matopai Yo said that YPPK as a partner of the government will continue to work to advance education in Papua including transforming according to the development of the times and science and technology.
"YPPK will always exist to advance education in the Land of Papua. In addition, we continue to look for breakthroughs with the spirit of transformation, following existing developments," said Bishop Monsinyur.
He is committed to continuing to encourage YPPK employee teachers to always improve their quality and competence. Because that way, the implementation of the school will also be of quality.
"Education, teaching, and coaching must be of high quality. Teachers, including school principals, must also fulfill the four competencies of teachers, namely personality, pedagogic, social and professional competencies," he said. ***
