JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong assessed that basic services in some hospitals and local government offices are still not running optimally.
This was revealed by Governor Limbong after conducting a surprise inspection at the Abepura Hospital and Mental Hospital, the Regional Civil Service Agency and the Papua One-Stop Integrated Service Office, Wednesday (9/10/2024).
"From yesterday and today, I inspected to find out the extent of the services provided to the community."
"For the Mental Hospital, I see that the service is not optimal. It is still far from humanity, also about food. There was a problem about honorarium that has not been accommodated so we will check and solve it," he explained.
Not only that, Limbong also emphasized that there is no concept of capital expenditure from BPJS results that must be planned for the next five years by the hospital.
"What I demand from them (hospitals) is that they must be conceptualized. That's what hasn't (existed) yet," he said.
Meanwhile, at the PTSP Papua Office, Limbong highlighted the many complaints about the slow licensing process.
"So yesterday I signed a letter to change the nomenclature to eliminate the field of Energy and Mineral Resources. So that we will put the issue of Energy and Mineral Resources into which agency and related to the cluster (to accelerate licensing)," he said.
Finally, in an inspection at the Papua Regional Civil Service Agency, Limbong asked all relevant parties to simplify the service process for civil servants.
"Be a good servant for all civil servants, so that no more is hampered in rank management and others," he said. ***
