JAYAPURA - The Content Management System (CMS) and disability-friendly website are officially present in Papua Province. Its presence is a tangible form of information disclosure in Papua.
It was inaugurated directly by the Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong, in Jayapura City, Tuesday (22/10/2024).
The launch was followed by technical guidance for social media management within the Papua Provincial Government, organized by the local Communication and Informatics Office.
"I appreciate the Papua Provincial Communication and Information Service for initiating the implementation of this activity which will provide new knowledge and skills for media managers."
"Especially by presenting a disability-friendly website, which is a step forward in improving public services through the use of more inclusive information technology," said Limbong.
According to Limbong, the Papua Provincial Government will continue to ensure that all information and services provided by the regional government can be accessed by the entire community, without exception.
Because the development of the website that has been carried out is not only aimed at fulfilling existing regulations but also as a form of concern for the rights of people with disabilities.
"With a more accessible website, disabled people can be more independent in obtaining information and public services."
"Moreover, social media has become the main platform for nature to communicate with the wider community. Through this socialization and technical guidance, it is hoped that all civil servants can use wisely, responsively and on target," he said. ***
