KEEROM - Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong hopes that through the performance of the XIV Ecclesiastical Choir Party (Pesparawi), it will be able to realize the appreciation of religious values and spirituality based on ethics from a holy conscience.

"At the same time, the realization of authentic religious life values in providing moral and ethical foundations in life community and a commitment to compete for faith by accepting each other's strengths and weaknesses sincerely and open-mindedly," said Ramses after opening the Pesparawi XIV in Keerom Regency, Monday (2/12).
According to Ramses, the Pesparawi agenda hopes to realize the values of togetherness and essentials in religious life in Papua.
"We should also be grateful because in a situation where the country is still hit by a multi-dimensional crisis, development in the spiritual field to improve the quality of religious faith still receives attention," he said.
Ramses added that activities like this are present to mean that development is not limited to physical development alone, but also aims to increase moral appreciation, spiritual depth and religious ethics still receive attention as well.
"So that we are not only fixated on the spirit of having only religion but the most important thing is how to make religious values guide life attitudes and behaviors," he added. ***
