JAYAPURA – The Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong, said that rewards for outstanding athletes who won medals at the PON XXI event in Aceh-North Sumatra and Peparnas Solo, Central Java in 2024, will be disbursed soon.

This disbursement is in line with the submission of the Budget Implementation Document (DPA) for Regional Apparatus Work Unit in the Papua Provincial Government, Fiscal Year 2025, Monday (3/2/2025).

"The reward that we can provide in accordance with the current regional financial capacity is IDR 25 billion," said Acting Governor Ramses Limbong.

He continued to explain, the reward will immediately be transferred directly to the account of each outstanding athlete.

"We have allocated IDR 25 billion for all these rewards. If possible, before February ends, it has been distributed through the Sports and Youth Office (Disorda), directly to the athlete's account or recipient," he concluded. ***
