JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong attended the opening ceremony of the 2025 Military Police Order Enforcement Operation and Military Police Judicial Operation which was held at the Military Regional Command Headquarters (Kodam) XVII/Cenderawasih Jayapura, Monday, February 10, 2025.
The ceremony led by Kasdam XVII was attended by the Acting Governor of Papua, PJU in the ranks of the Kodam, Lantamal X, Silas Papare Air Base, and PJU in the Cenderawasih POMDAM.
In front of the media crew, Ramses Limbong said that his presence at this ceremony gave appreciation and support for implementing this operation as part of efforts to maintain discipline and professionalism within the Indonesian Armed Forces, especially in the Papua region.
"Military Police Order Enforcement Operation and Military Police Judicial Operation is not only a step for law enforcement in the military environment, but also part of a joint commitment to maintain order and security in Papua," said Ramses Limbong.
Meanwhile, Kasdam XVII/Cenderawasih Brigadier General TNI Thevi A. Zebua when reading the TNI Commander's Speech in front of the ceremony participants emphasized that this operation is one of the TNI's commitments to support the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia in realizing Law Enforcement Reform, including in the ranks of the TNI, in its implementation it is instructed that all TNI ranks support the implementation of operations and increase innovation and creativity for TNI members at all levels to realize an Advanced Indonesia.
The 2025 Military Police Order Enforcement and Military Police Judicial Operation will take place throughout the year with various activities such as raids on official vehicles, member identity checks, and socialization related to military discipline rules.
The ceremony took place solemnly with an atmosphere of familiarity in the series by carrying out breakfast together in the Makodam XVII / Cenderawasih. ***
