JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong launched the Free Health Check Program (PKG) at the Sentani Health Center, Jayapura Regency, Monday (10/2/2025).
Governor Ramses said that the PKG program is proof of the government's commitment to providing access to health for the community.
"Health services are the responsibility of the government," said Governor Ramses.
According to him, with this free health check-up, his party wants to ensure that people get better health services, especially on their birthdays.
"This program includes 21 types of health checkups, which aim to detect various diseases that have a high risk of causing death in the community," he said.
"With this program, it is hoped that people will be more concerned about their health," he said.
Ramses added, through this program, at least the community can be diagnosed physically.
"Especially in some health centres that do not have complete facilities," he added.
It is known that when launching this program, Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong was also accompanied by the Acting Regent of Jayapura, Semuel Siriwa and the Head of the Papua Health Office and Jayapura Regency.
