JAYAPURA - Acting Head of the Economic and Development Administration Bureau of Papua Province, Andry visited the Papua Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Thursday (13/2). The meeting was to discuss the importance of economic data such as inflation, domestic income, and other economic indicators.
"We hope that the relationship between the Papua Provincial Government and Central Bureau of Statistics of Papua will be closer, supporting the achievement of more targeted and data-based development policies," said Andry.
Meanwhile, the Head of BPS Papua Province, Adriana H. Carolina, invited all #SahabatData to continue to work together to build a more prosperous Papua.
Previously, Wednesday (12/2). BPS Papua has received a visit from the Deputy Chairman of Commission X of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia H. Lalu Hadrian Irfani.
During his visit, Lalu Hadrian emphasized the support of Commission X in strengthening statistical regulations, budget efficiency, and the preparation of the 2026 Economic Census and discussions have been carried out on Statistical Regulations, accelerating the revision of Law No. 16 of 1997 to strengthen the National Statistical System.
The 2026 Economic Census prepares large-scale data collection for the mapping of Indonesia's economy, budget Efficiency and realizing quality data management by optimizing resources.
