JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong accompanied by the Chairman of the Papua Driving Team of Empowerment and Family Welfare, Mrs. Kardina Ramses Limbong, made the first working visit in the Saireri customary area, Biak Numfor and Supiori Regencies, Wednesday (4/9/2024).

Arriving at the VIP Room of Frans Kaisiepo Biak Numfor Airport, the Acting Governor's entourage was greeted by the Mansorandak Rangkain traditional dance which was closed with the process of stepping on plates.

On this visit, Governor Limbong was also accompanied by nine Heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations of the Papua Provincial Government.

The Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Service, Jeri A. Yudianto, in his release, said that the series of visits to Biak and Supiori was the desire of the Acting Governor to directly monitor the implementation of the government, readiness and neutrality of civil servants in the upcoming 2024 simultaneous regional elections.

"The governor also wants to monitor the implementation of national strategic programs, such as inflation control, stunting, Polio Immunization and economic strengthening in the two districts," explained Jeri.

Meanwhile, during the working visit, the Acting Governor of Papua handed over some assistance aimed at suppressing inflation and revitalizing the economy in Supiori Regency.

"Including some assistance whose purpose is to improve the economy of residents in Supiori," he said. ***
