JAYAPURA – Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong, reminded all election officials and Civil Servants within the Papua Provincial Government to maintain neutrality during the Re-election (PSU).
"My message to all election officials and civil servants in the provincial government is to remain neutral. Set aside personal and group interests that could disrupt the democratic process in Papua," said Ramses.
Governor Ramses also urged election organizers to be meticulous and avoid repeating past mistakes from the 2024 Regional Elections.
"This way, we can prevent new conflicts in the future. We are using public funds, and we must be accountable for that," he stressed.
He further expressed hope that the election process would run smoothly and safely, ultimately leading to the election of a leader chosen by the people.
"I hope this stage proceeds peacefully and successfully, ensuring that the leader elected is truly the choice of the Papuan people," he concluded. ***
