Facing the current Covid-19 pandemic, new members of Papua Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Team (TP PKK) are being asked to get closer to the community.
It was conveyed by vice chairman of Papua Family Welfare Empowerment, Yolanda Tinal, while providing supplies for her newly appointed board members, Tuesday (10/11/2020), in Jayapura.
"Especially in the period of this pandemic, therefore the Family Welfare Empowerment should be closer to the community. As the previous administrators have been recently done by handing out masks and hand sanitizers to the people".
"At least Papua Family Welfare Empowerment should be better in the future, so that the Family Welfare Empowerment program can be more useful but can also be accounted for," she said.
She said that the supply to new members is believed to be very important in order to be able to carry out its duties and functions well in the future.
The briefing is also expected to be the "weapon" in carrying out its duties and functions.
"Certainly this supply is very important, because it will be a weapon for mothers in herding its members".
"More specifically in improving the knowledge, ability and skills to carry out 10 key programs of the Family Welfare Empowerment, as a government partner in encouraging societal development," she concluded.
