JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government released the final condition of the Acting Chairman of the Papua Family Empowerment and Welfare, Kerdina Ramses Limbong who is in good condition, after the plane she was on had an incident when took off to Sentani Airport, Jayapura Regency.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Service, Jeri A. Yudianto, in his statement to the press, Monday (9/9/2024).
"There is information related to the plane that the Acting Chairman of Papua Family Empowerment and Welfare slipped at Kamenap Airport, Yapen Islands. She is in good condition at the Acting Regent (local) Office House in preparation for going to Biak Airport, to continue her activities," said Jeri via WhatsApp message.
Previously, the Trigana Air plane reportedly skidded at Kamanap Airport, Kosiwo District, Yapen Islands Regency, Papua Province, on Monday.
The plane was carrying a group of Acting Chairman of the Papua Family Empowerment and Welfare, Kerdina Ramses Limbong.
Airport officers have also evacuated the passengers to the official residence of the Acting Regent of the Yapen Islands.
The passengers were evacuated using one ambulance unit belonging to the Hospital and the Yapen Islands Police, as well as several other cars belonging to the Yapen Islands Regency Government. Meanwhile, some Trigana Air passengers are being evacuated to Serui Hospital. ***
