Regional Staffing Agency (BKD) of Papua Province reminds all civil servants of the country (ASN) who advanced in the 2020 concurrent elections to immediately submit a letter of resignation in writing.
The resignation rules as set out in Regulation of the Indonesian Republic of Indonesia No. 1 of 2019, which if not implemented, are threatened with scribbles from the prospective head or deputy regional head or disqualification.
"Therefore on this occasion we remind again to all State Civil Apparatus in Papua that in our count there are about 16 people who are running to be candidates for regent and vice regent in simultaneous elections in 11 districts of Papua Province".
"They must resign by November 9, 2020. If passed can be disqualified," said head of Regional Staffing Agency Nicolaus Wenda in Jayapura, Thursday (5/11/2020).
He said to date, only two ASNs have submitted written resignation letters.
Both advanced as candidates for regional head in Nabire Regency and Bintang Mountains. Therefore, given the increasingly close time, he will also instruct his staff to communicate with the ASN who is advancing in the Election.
From that communication, all ASNs who are advancing in the Election want to be reminded to withdraw so as not to be disqualified.
"I hope not to delay because of ASNs whose rank is brought to 4A through the governor's approval. ASN group 4B will be signed by the central Regional Staffing Agency and this will take time to process".
"So that we once again hope that the rules that have been established can be implemented," he hoped.
