Deputy Governor of Papua Klemen Tinal confirmed that he will evaluate the performance of Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) leaders every six months.
It aims to measure the performance of Regional Apparatus Organization leaders in the provincial government, whether it is able to translate the vision and mission of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Papua.
"Regional Apparatus Organization leaders should be evaluated, corrected, even later we will call one-on-one. We'll let you know that something's not going well. Thus, we have a sense of mutual own," he said in Jayapura, Thursday (12/11/2020).
Klemen also instructed Regional Apparatus Organization leaders to evaluate each of their staff regularly.
If possible, he asked the Regional Apparatus Organization head to impose rewards and punishments so that there is an award for civil servant who works well as a penalty for lazy or non-contributing employees.
"Because the point is that this reward and punishment is aimed at improving civil servant discipline".
"That way, we encourage all civil servants in Papua to work well," he said.
Klemen on that occasion asked that every Regional Apparatus Organization leader must be master office management to organize the entire civil servants to work more effectively and efficiently.
"I've mentioned in the past, where the head of SKPD is the manager".
"It has to be master office management. Thus it can organize Regional Apparatus Organization performance as well as can be measured results. So that the staff we lead know that they're doing a good job," he concluded.
